It seems like everyone's worries about the collection of cells rather than the pregnant mother, who in many circumstances is endangering their lives by having the baby. It seems very extreme to just say that the unborn foetus matters! ...

some say during conception, some during the growth of the foetus ,and some say not until a child is 7. probably a Catholic. Does the possible absence of a soul during pregnancy diminish the potential of a fully developed child and therefore the rights of the foetus? ...

Of course it should be legal. a fetus shares the rights of the mother who decides ultimately if it should be born or not. you can argue, if you believe in God, that he decides, or you can look at the practical reality of a person's life and see if a child is a realistic option for the mother. If she ...
