To the person who wrote that if the mother gives birth to the baby conceived through a rape. The person believes that the mother would be punished. I respect your perspective, and when focusing on the mother's point of view, you are correct. I have looked at pictures of aborted fetuses, most as young as only a few weeks. The major organs especially the heart and brain are formed and functioning. To make an informed decision, the mother must look at a sonogram, and pictures of aborted fetuses, and read the stories of men and women who have endured abortions ( Rachael's Vineyard web link).However, the baby would be eliminated for the crime of his father. Is it too much to ask that the mother focus on the baby's chance to live, then give him/her up for adoption?
