2012 - A Five-Minute Summary

2012 - A Five-Minute Summary

Why all the hype about the year 2012? Most people who have heard anything about this, have heard that it is "the end of the Mayan Calendar", and that the end-point signifies the End of the World. However, this is not just another bible-generated doom fantasy...it turns out that prophecies from all over the world all converge on this date, as well as contemporary visions. But is it really an End of the World, or is it something else? If there is a chance that there could be something in this story, then shouldn't we all be investigating it?

Geoff Stray here gives a five-minute summary, which is expanded upon in longer video, also available at CiceroTV. Geoff is the author of the books, "Beyond 2012, Catastrophe or Ecstasy", and "The Mayan and Other Ancient Calendars", and runs the Diagnosis2012 database at www.diagnosis2012.co.uk

Re: 2012 - A Five-Minute Summary

This is a really interesting subject. I was not aware of this so I looked it up on the internet. There seem to be a lot of different interpretations of it's meaning, mostly doom mongering which I suppose is to be expected. Are there any indications from your experience of what we can do to prepare for what might happen?

Re: Re: 2012 - A Five-Minute Summary

Regarding preparation, there is still not enough information to be sure exactly what adverse weather conditions will occur in which ares of the globe, but we can prepare mentally by choosing from a variety of workshops, therapies, and other kinds of groups that will help us to shift our ingrained responses and attitudes. Everybody has buried traumas and shadow material that controls them, from their muscular tensions, to posture, thinking, reactions, outbursts, over-defensiveness, intolerance, etc.

If we are looking at the possibility of a widespread telepathic ability, then imagine your every thought being broadcast, and you will see why we need to do something about our buried material. Another possibility is that if the environmental changes include a trigger such as a strong geomagnetic shift, this could cause a reaction in people that would be like those suffered by people with temporal lobe epilepsy or schizophrenia...in other words, visions may be generated. (The inner magnetite in the sinuses and pineal could cause internal secretion of hallucinogens). If the inner buried complexes from our past are not addressed, then these conflicts could emerge in a visible, audible form, which in the case of the schizophrenic break, is said to last 40 days and 40 nights, if suppressing drugs are not taken.

The various actions we could take to prepare include: meditation, yoga, Reichian therapy, psychosynthesis, re-birthing and breathwork, Kundalini Yoga, shamanic journeying, vision-questing, ceremonial work, massage, primal scream therapy, psychoanalysis, trance-dancing, sweat lodges, dream work, hemi-sync training. See what is available in your area - there may be lists at the local library, adverts in shop windows and in alternative and local newspapers and magazines. You could also start your own study group for discussing it all.
